About Write My Stuff and Barb
A lifelong writer and avid reader, Barbara Wright lives in southeastern Massachusetts with her husband and four older children. She began writing for magazines, newspapers, newsletters and websites in 1990. Once an aspiring veterinary technician, an allergy to three components of the rabies vaccine put an end to her dream of becoming a veterinary technician.
Barbara then shifted her focus exclusively to writing and worked as an editorial assistant for a busy community newspaper for over three years. In 2008, the newspaper launched an employee reduction program because of declining ad revenues, and she was laid off, along with 34 other workers. Shortly thereafter, Write My Stuff was born. Barbara has been busy writing press releases, short articles, blogs and web content ever since.
